1.Confidence Boost:
“ I know now that fashion can really empower and make anyone feel beautiful— and that missteps are not the end of the world.”
– Garance Dore
Trust me, I know what it feels like to be insecure and not feel like the prettiest girl in the room. I used to beat myself up about it all the time, constantly comparing myself to others, changing my appearance to gain the acceptance of others–my lack of confidence affected so many different areas of my life.
Then one day, I decided enough was enough and it was time to start loving myself, unconditionally. That meant accepting all of my flaws and working with the beautiful Tori B. that God created.
I learned that when you look good, you feel good. But, it’s also important to stay true to your personality, personal style, and resist trends. Think of your stylist as your therapist and your friend with an unbiased opinion of your image and style. As a stylist, I know what works for your body type, skin tone, and lifestyle and how to incorporate that with your own personal style so that you are looking and feeling your best without second-guessing yourself.
2. Smart Shopping
Stylists know where to find the best deals without skimping out on the quality. Avoid making the much-made-mistake of purchasing clothing that hangs in your closet collecting dust with the price tag still on it. A personal stylist will help you sort through your closet, adding items that fill in the gaps and add more value to your wardrobe which saves you money rather than starting from scratch. In addition, a stylist can save you money in the long run or pay for itself by keeping you from impulse purchases.
3. The “I have NOTHING to wear” Dilemma
We’ve all been there. You wake up, take a shower, and head to your closet to choose your look for the day, then you immediately get frustrated with one glance at your wardrobe. Lots of women have lots of clothes and/or designer items but, they are outdated, ill-fitting, or it just does not go with anything in your closet.
A personal stylist will get rid of the clothes and accessories that aren’t working for you, and sort and arrange your closet in a way that makes sense for you.
We have connections with tailors that will alter and bring your clothing back to life. We create a personal shopping list to fill in the gaps of your wardrobe and style them to make them work for your everyday life. Most importantly, a stylist will assess your body, personal and professional image and lifestyle, and will work with you to curate a wardrobe that fits all of your needs.
4. Stay Polished & On Trend
A stylist helps you slay every day. You know that woman who’s super stylish, always looks good, with the latest designer brands, and can pull off just about anything? For some women, this comes easily and naturally. This is where a stylist becomes your best friend. It is a stylist’s job to keep you looking flawless but make the process completely effortless.
P.S: You don’t need designer clothes to look absolutely amazing. A stylist works with women with all types of budgets and lifestyles.
5. Reinvent Your Style
Maybe you’ve lost weight and you’re unsure of how to dress your new body? Tired of wearing the same clothes over and over again? Changed jobs/got a promotion and you need to take your style to a new level? Had a baby and tired of the “yoga pants and tee shirts” routine every day? Maybe you’ve been neglecting your style or you’re just ready to start a new chapter in your life?
Whatever age and stage you are in your life. A stylist can help bring out the best in you from the inside out for whatever season you’re in.
6. Saves you a LOT of time.
Okay, you just got word that your sister is getting married —- at an exotic location—in just a few days! You’re already busy with your own life, work, and family so how you pack and find looks for this trip in such a short amount of time? Packing for a trip can be overwhelming and a stylist can save you a lot of time and stress by choosing outfits for you every day of your trip, going shopping for last-minute items you need, and packing them for you so all you have to do is load the luggage (I’m sure they’ll help you with that too). Whether you just found out that you have an interview tomorrow or a big business meeting, a stylist will save you a lot of time by taking care of these things for you.
7. Create a strong personal brand.
Your image should not be an afterthought and a stylist will make sure that even though you may not want to focus on it, your image will be impeccable. In an instant, your image can convey so many things, such as success, status, character, personality, and of course style. Fashion is a language in which no words need to be spoken. Whether you like it or not, people will formulate an opinion about you before they even know you, solely based on what you are wearing and how you carry yourself. A stylist will help you to align your “inner” image with your “outer” image that the world actually sees. Simply put, a stylist will help you to create a positive brand and a strong professional image.
8. Discover your personal style
Stylists have relationships with stores, designers, and tailors, and always know where to go to get clothes that align with your body type, coloring, and professional brand/image. They also know where to get the best deals!
A good stylist will shop from several different stores and designers to bring you a wardrobe that not only aligns with your needs and budget but also seamlessly integrates into your existing wardrobe. They will know which designers will work for your style and body type, and which ones to avoid, as well as which items are worth spending extra money on and which items you can save on.
Since no two people are alike, this is a VERY personal experience, as a Stylist will never buy the exact same things for multiple clients. You will not only have a closet full of clothes that were hand-picked FOR YOU, and fit you PERFECTLY, but your Stylist will show you how to pair everything together and will give you a style guide of outfit “suggestions” so you are never left wondering what to wear.

9. Provides you with fresh ideas for clothing you already have.
You probably constantly get frustrated over limited outfit, a stylist can eliminate those of type of issues using services like outfit planning.
10. Hiring a stylist is much more affordable than people think.
Stylists are just for celebrities and high profilers. Every stylist works differently. Some charge by the hour, while some work by day or “project/package” rates. They are also usually more than happy to negotiate rates on a retainer or on-going basis for clients that need their services more than a couple of times a month. The time and money they will save you will be invaluable, and their fees can usually be written off come tax time—smart investment for business owners and entrepreneurs.
